يتناول هذا الكتاب: مسائل نافعة من آيات قرآنية و أحاديث نبوية، و نصائح نبغاء، و ليس الهدف من ذلك تحريض العزائم على تعليم النساء أن يبلغن حد الجهابذة من الرجال، وإنما المراد أن تحصل المرأة على الواجبات الشرعية و حقوق الزوجية. وإتقان الخياطة و النسج و التطريز، و ينبغي أن يكون لها إلمام بمبادئ بعض الفنون بقدر ما تصون به أمور منزلها من النظافة و حسن الترتيب و التدبير، و تربية الأولاد؛ لأن الأم هي المدرسة الأولى للأطفال حتى إذا انتظمت لها تلك الأمور نالت العيشة الراضية، والمنزلة العالية، وذلك مما يزيدها جمالا، وعفة و كمالا، و يفند الكتاب آراء المخالفين الذين يرون أن تعليم المرأة من المضرات مستندين إلى بعض الأسانيد الضعيفة التي تناولها الكتاب بالتحليل و التفصيل مؤيدا رأيه مما ورد من الأحاديث الصحيحة و الروايات الصادقة الفصيحة فجاء الكتاب وثيقة جليلة تبين سماحة الإسلام و عظمة تشريعه؛ حيث أن للمرأة حقوق مثلما للرجل تماما.
