فى هذا الكتاب يتوقف المؤلف طويلا ليحلل الفكرة ضمن نموذج تفكيكى رائع فالإنسان الكامل هو الوالى الذى داوم على مجاهداته حتى اجتباه الله فتجلى عليه بذاته، وشغلت الفلسفات القديمة فى الشرق والغرب فكره، وصنفت مؤلفات عديدة كان من أبرزها ما ذهب اليه فلاسفة الفرس والصين القديمة منذ بدايات القرن الخامس قبل الميلاد، حيث ذهبوا إلى أن الإنسان الأول هو جزء من الدور الكونى الأكبر وتم تفسير العالم على أساس التناظر بين العالم الصغير والعالم الكبير، وتكون المبدأ القائل بأن العالم انسان كبير وأن الانسان عالم صغير، وقد أهتمت الفلسفة الإسلامية بالبحث فى فكرة الإنسان الكامل. ورغم غموض الفكرة وما بها من رموز ومدلولات فإن ابن عربى كان عراب الإنسان فقدمه على طبق من ذهب لمن عاصره ومن تلوه من الشيوخ، واما عن مؤلف هذا الكتاب "الشيخ عبد الكريم الجيلى" فهو فليسوف صوفى تبحر فى عالم الشريعة والحقيقة وتفلسف بما اكتسب من علوم المشرق والمغرب وهو الملقب بقطب الدين وعفيف الدين.
