الأدب الأندلسي له سحره الخاص الذي يسلب الألباب قبل القلوب، فقد استُلهِم من فردوسه الذي كان له الأثر في شعر شعرائه وكتابات أدبائه واردين من موارده وناهلين من روافده حتى قال شاعرهم (ابن خفاجة):
"يا أهلَ أندّلُسٍ لله درُّكُمُ... ماءٌ وظلٌّ وأنهارٌ وأشجارٌ"...
"ما جَنَّةُ الخُلّدِ إلَّا في ديَارِكُمُ... وهَذِه كُنْتُ لو خُيِّمرْتُ أخْتَارُ...
"لا تَتًّقُوا بَعْدَهَا أن تَدْخُلُوا سَقَراً"... فلَيْسَ تُدْخَلُ بعْدَ الجنَّةِ النَّارُ"...
لقد امتازت الشخصية الأندلسية بمعينها الثر، وامتاز الشعر الأندلسي بالكثير من الدرر، وهذه الدراسة محاولة للغوص في بعض بحاره، ونظم الجوهر من قلائد أشعاره.
كانت الفكرة الأولى لهذه الدراسة لأستاذي الجليل الدكتور محمد شهاب العاني (رحمه الله)، لكنها لم تر النور إلا بعد وقت طويل وجهد جهيد حتى استقامت على سوقها، وأعجب الزراع لمع بروقها، أسأل الله أن يتغمد أستاذي بواسع رحمته، ويجعل الفردوس الأعلى مستقر إقامته.
