وليس ثمة أي تباين جوهري بين مختلف الديانات الحقة (إذا لم نأخذ بالشكليات التي غالباً ما يعطيها المؤمنون أهمية بالغة). ولكي نتحقق من هذا ينبغي أن نغوص إلى أعماق جوهر الديانات. وهذا ما سعى إليه في هذا الكتاب، ومن يقرؤه يدرك أن طريقنا سواء كنا مسيحيين، أو مسلمين، أو بوذيين أو...، طريق واحدة فكلنا يرغب في أن يعيش في عالم الخير والمحبة، وسوف ندرك أن محبة الإله هي محبة القريب، "أحب قريبك كما تحب نفسك".
