يحتوي هذا السفر القيم على مختلف الأحاديث النبوية التي جاءت على لسان النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وتداولتها الألسن لعظمتها ولمكانتها في رسم ملامح حياة الأفراد والأمم والإسلامية وهي جاءت مبينة لكافة الأمور التي يحتاج الفرد لمعرفة حكم الشرع فيها، ففي الباب الأول مثلاً تم طرح كل الأحاديث التي تشرح علاقة الإنسان بربه، ولا شك أن هذه العلاقة هي أهم علاقة بالنسبة للإنسان المؤمن، إذ إن الله قد اسبغ على الإنسان نعماً لا تعد ولا تحصى، إذ خلقه من تراب، ثم من نطفة، ويسر له سبل الحياة وأكرمه بأن وهبه العقل دون باقي المخلوقات.
أما الباب الثاني فاشتمل على العبادات المتعلقة بالطهارة والوضوء، والصلاة، والآذان، الإخلاص في العبادة، الجنائز، الصوم، النذر...)، هذا واشتمل الباب الثالث على شرح وافي للأحوال الشخصية (كالنكاح، والطلاق، والعدة، والأولاد)، كما واشتمل على تأكيد دار حول أهمية الرحمة بالصغار، وإيضاح للمقصود "بكرة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم للغلظة". أما الأبواب الأخرى كالمعاملات وآداب الاجتماع والأخلاق المحمودة والتوبة، فقد تضمنت أحاديث نبوية شريفة خاصة بالمؤمن ونهجه في الحياة.
كتاب حول سنة الرسول الكريم في شتى مجالات الحياة ، يعتمد الكتاب على الأحاديث النبوية في تناول الموضوعات حيث يقسم الكتاب إلى سبعة فصول ،كل منها يتناول موضوعًا محددًا وهي : علاقة الإنسان بربه ، العبادات ، والأحوال الشخصية ، والمعاملات ، والاجتماع ، وفضل النبي. وأخيرا موضوعات متفرقة. وفي كل موضوع من تلك الموضوعات ، يقدم المؤلف الأحاديث النبوية التي تتعلق بالموضوع مع شرحها وتفسيرها وتوضيح معاني مفرداتها
