إذ بات مُنشغِلٌ في دورته اليوميّةِ تهرُبُ العنْزة روزي من زربيتها، وتجدُ في أوراق عناوين الطُّرود البريديّة طعاماً شهيّاً، ثم تركُضُ مُخَرِّبةً في أرجاء غرينديل.
بات وآلْف يُطارِدانِها، لكنَّها دائماً تتفلَّتُ منهُما، لِتُسَبِّبَ المَزيدَ من الخَراب، بات يُخطئُ في توزيع الطُّرودِ على أصحابها الحقيقيّينَ بعد أن أكِلَتِ العناوينُ! وبعدَ متاعب كثيرةِ تُحْمَلُ روزي إلى زريبتِها ويَحْصُلُ كُلُّ صاحِبِ طّرْدٍ على طّرْدِهِ.
ويجدر الإشارة أن هذه القصة تندرج ضمن المرحلة الرابعة (ثالث ورابع إبتدائي) من مراحل القراءة المتدّرجة.
