Book Description
حكمة: كلمة تجمع في حروفها معاني النبل والأصالة والذكاء. فهي، بحسب المنجد في اللغة العربيّة المعاصرة ، تعني الفلسفة والعدل والعلم بحقائق الأشياء، وأحد أسفار العهد القديم.
للحكمة دور مهمّ وشموليّ في الكتاب المقدّس، إذ تحتلّ مكانةً أساسيّة فيه، وهي تيّار فكريّ ساد في الكتب الحكميّة.
فالكتاب الذي بين أيدينا مقسّم إلى عدّة فصول: يعرّفنا المؤلّف أوّلاً على الحكمة الكتابيّة من خلال سفر الأمثال، وسليمان الحكيم، وسليمان الملك وحلمه، وصلاته في جعبون، ويؤكّد أهمّيّة الإصغاء والسماع في هذا الصدد. ثمّ يخبرنا لاحقًا بتفاصيل إضافيّة عن الحكمة، فهي تولّد الالتزام والعمل والتعلّم المستمرّ، وأهمّ ما في الأمر أنّها موقف نتّخذه. في نظر المؤلّف، الحكمة أسلوبٌ في الكلام وطريقة في التفكير. ولم يتغاضَ الكاتب عن وصف العلاقة التي تربط بين الحكمة والعلاقات الإنسانيّة المتّزنة، إذ تضطلع بدور فعّال في معرفة الخير من الشرّ، على الرغم من أنّها مليئة بالتساؤلات الجوهريّة المتعلّقة بموضوعات عدّة. بعد ذلك، يعرض لنا سفر أيّوب ناقدًا النظرة التقليديّة إلى الله، ويضعنا في الصورة التي عاشها أيّوب، ويطرح أسئلة عديدة عن الحكمة التقليديّة التي يجيب عنها أيّوب في نهاية الفصل الثامن. وفي ختام الكتاب، يفيض المؤلّف في مدح الحكمة ويتحدّث عن دورها في حوار العقل والإيمان.
كانت ثقافات الشرق القديم تبحث بشكل لامتناهٍ عن الحكمة، وما زلنا حتّى اليوم ننقّب عنها في المجالات كافّة. ففي الكتاب المقدّس اتّخذت معنى كلمة الله. ولكلّ مَن يرغب في التعمّق في الحكمة هذه التي نقرأ عنها مرارًا وتكرارًا في الكتاب المقدّس، لا بدّ له من أن يتصفّح هذا الكتاب ويستمتع بمطالعته.
