كان الازدحام كعادته فى هذه المدينة مزعجاً، ينهش الأعصاب، حاولت ألا أتاخر عنك حين تخيلت ما قطعته من مسافات لرؤيتى، اخترت شارعاً جانبياً، فوصلت قبل الموعد، لم يكن ذاك فى بالي، وما رغبت أن أراوغك بحيل الأنثى، فأتركك طويلاً فى انتظاري… جاء اتصالك موافقاً لوصولي، وكأننا خططنا له، انسلتت برجلي إلى المقهى القريب، وعن بعد طالعني هيكل لرجل ببشرة فحمية، وملامح أفريقية، داخلني شك سرعان ما غيبته.. "أن يكون أنت، رغم أن صوراً لك أرسلتها قد كانت أعطتني فكرة عنك".
أصابني الاتباك فاتصلت بك، وأحسست بصوتك يسبق ملامحك حين التفت ورائي… كنت أيضا مرتبكاً.
