هذه رسالة موجزة فى أوجه الخلاف المشتهرة عن رواة القراء العشرة, تتبعت فيها بحول الله وقوته الأوجه الراجحة فى الأداء من طرق كتاب "التيسير" للأمام الحافظ أبى عمرو الداني للسبعة القراء وهو أصل الشاطبية, وكتاب "تحبير التيسير" للإمام المحقق ابن الجزرى للقراء الثلاثة وهو أصل الدرة. وأعنى بالوجه الراجح فى الأداء ذلك الوجه الذى قرأ به الداني أو ابن الجزرى على شيخه فى كل رواية مسندة من طريق الكتابين, ورويت بوجه أو أكثر, فكان مدار الترجيح هو السند المتصل من صاحب الكتاب إلى الراوى عن الإمام القارئ.
وقد نسى كثير من الناس كتاب "التيسير للدانى وكتاب "التحبير" لابن الجزرى, وأصبح اعتماد المقرئين على الشاطبية والدرة وشروحها أكبر من اعتمادهم على أصليهما.
ومع أن الإمام الشاطبى والإمام ابن الجزرى-رحمهما الله- قد اختصر كل منهما قصيدته من الأصل, وصرحا بذلك فى الشاطبية والدرة, إلا أنها خرجا فى بعض المواضع عن الأصل أو زادا عليه, كذلك خرج كل من الإمام الداني والإمام ابن الجزرى فى بعض المواضع عن طرق التيسير وطرق التحبير.
وقد تعرض بعض العلماء لأوجه الخلاف من الشاطبية, وإفراد الأوجه الصحيحة التى تجوز بها القراءة, والأوجه التى لا تجوز بها القراءاة من طرقها, إلا أن المتتبع للخلاف المروى عن الأئمة يجد أن كثيرا من مواضع الخلاف لم تحرر فى كتاب لأحد من العلماء
