في كتابه هذا ، ينقلنا الدكتور حسن عباس نصر الله إلى مسرح تحركات الأنبياء والرسل من خلال القرآن الكريم ، وفي منطقة الشرق العربي وصولاً إلى مصر ، فيبدأ ببلاد العراق ، والجزيرة العربية واليمن وبلاد الشام ؛ سورية مروراً بأنطاكية ، ثم الأردن ، فلسطين - لبنان - العراق - من بابل إلى نينوى - الموصل - وجبل الجودي ، وانتهاءً بمصر .
سيطلع القارىء في هذا الكتاب على أماكن وجود الأنبياء والرسل ونشرهم لرسالاتهم السماوية ، فآدم هبط على جبل عرفات ، واجتمع بحواء على جبل الرحمة ، جزء من عرفات ، وعمّر البيت بمكة ، ساعده جبرائيل ، ليطوف حوله . وبعد الف سنة مات ودفن في النجف - العراق ، وقيل في ( سرنديب ) الهند ... وإدريس ، جال بين الكوفة وبابل ؛ وفيهما نشر الحرف ومن هناك انطلق إلى العالم ، وخلفه نوح سكن الكوفة ، و ( فار التنور ) من الكوفة ، وقيل بنى سفينته على جبل ( الجودي ) شمال العراق ، حيث شاد مع أتباعه قرية الثمانين . وقيل دُفن في كرك - نوح البقاع . وأما هو وصالح فعاشا في اليمن وحضرموت ... ثم أدى إبراهيم فولد ببابل - العراق ، ورحل إلى الشام ، ثم إلى مصر - مُنف ، وعاد إلى فلسطين ؛ ومنها إلى مكة حيث جدّد البيت مع إبنه إسماعيل . وعاد إلى ( حبرون ) الخليل ودفن بالمنارة ورافقه في أسفاره إبن أخيه لوط الذي استقر بالمؤتفكات سدوم ، وعمورة على البحر الميت - فلسطين .
وهكذا يتبع الكتاب حركة الأنبياء ، ويستمر مع إسحق ثم يعقوب ويوسف وموسى وإلياس وإليسع وداود وسليمان ويونس وزكريا ويحي ... وخاتمهم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، الذي ولد بمكة . ورحل في تجارة إلى دمشق وهاجر إلى المدينة ، وأسري به إلى المسجد القصى ( القدس ) ، وعُرِجَ به إلى السماء السابعة مروراً بالجنة التي هبط منها آدم .
