كانت وما زالت الإحتجاجات الحق والمناظرات الجدية، هي الطريق الوحيد للمعرفة التي تطابق واقع الرسالة الإسلامية ومتطلباتها، وما أمر الله به على المستويين العقائدي والفقهي.
ومن باب (دع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن) دأب الرسول الأعظم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وأهل بيته الطاهرين على الدعوة إلى سبيل الله كما أمرهم الله بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة، وأيضاً جادلوا الناس علمائهم وجهالهم بالتي هي أحسن من دون عصبية وما يجري مجراها من أسباب فشل النقاش والمجادلة وإظهار الحق.
وعلماء الشيعة كذلك ساروا على ما سار عليه أهل بيت النبوة (صلوات الله عليهم) في دعوتهم إلى الله وإلى الحق الذي أنزله الله وأدراده للبشرية جمعاء، فجادلوا بالتي هي أحسن ودعو الآخرين إلى نفي التعصب وإتباع الهوى في نقاشهم وإحتجاجهم ومناظرتهم. وعندما تتصفح كتب كبار العلماء تجدها مليئة بتلك المناظرات والإحتجاجات العحيبة، لأهل البيت عليهم السلام. وعجبها جاء من دقة أسلوبها، ورقة كلماتها، وضخامة المادة العلمية فيها.
وفي هذا السياق جاء الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا ليعرض مجموعة مهمة ومتنوعة من المناظرات والإحتجاجات المروية عن أهل البيت النبوة سلام الله عليهم، وبعض من مناظرات أصحابهم. قد قام السيَد محسن النوري الموسوي بطرحها بصورة مبسطة وذلك من أجل تسهيل فهمها على القارئ.
