كتبت هذه الحكايات كاتبة الأطفال الموهوبة أماني العشماوي، الحائزة على الجائزة الأولى في التأليف في مسابقة سوزان مبارك لأدب الطفل عام 2000، والتي كانت أول كاتبة عربية تحظى بشرف اختيارها ضمن قائمة شرف منظمة الـIBBY العالمية عام 2002.
