وفي هذا الكتاب تم البحث في عدة مجالات مثل الكيمياء الحيوية والمواد الكيميائية المستعملة في صناعة مستحضرات التجميل، كما تم البحث في مستحضرات العناية بالبشرة والجلد والشعر والجسم.
كما تم البحث في طرق نزع الشعر غير المرغوب به عن الجسم والوجه، وقد تم البحث في هذه المواضيع لأهمية معرفة نوعية البشرة وحساسياتها لكل شخص على حدة وذلك لمعرفة المستحضرات الأنسب لإستعمالها.
كما تم البحث فيها لمعرفة أهم المواد الكيميائية والطبيعية المستعملة في تركيب كل مستحضر على حدة من الأقل أهمية إلى الأعلى أهمية وذلك لأنها تستخدم على الجلد والوجه والمناطق الشديدة الحساسية مثل العين.
