هي حياة شاعر في خافت الضوء، ووضوح الألم، يقف فيها إلى جانب المعذبين بصمت تحت مبضع الجراح والذين يحلمون بالعودة يوماً إلى الحياة أصحاء. في النص الذي يفتتح به الكتاب "مال رأسه بطعنة الغياب" يقول السفر: "...تكمن الجلطة وتباغت. غابت لأعوام، خلناها قنعت فاكتفت بما أخذت.. وبما تركت من ذكرى قائمة في الأبدان الأربعة تحفظها زيارات الطبيب وصرر الدواء؛ كنزنا المتجدَد الذي لا ينفذ... تكمن الجلطة وتباغت...".
من عناوين الكتاب نذكر: "مال رأسه بطعنة الغياب"، "تهدل العمر على الأكتاف"، "ريشة تغويها الجهات"، "يزهر الهواء برائحة الحنين"، "الطفل ذو الممارسة"، "يذهبون في الجلطة"، "امرأة الورد"...الخ.
