محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم تلك الحقيقة العُلوية المعلومة المجهولة، المعلومة لدى الله، والمجهولة لدى خلق الله، المنكشفة للقلوب النيرة والمجهولة عند المتخلفين. محمد ذلك النور الذي لم يعرف حتى في زمانه إلا عند القليل، يلزم أن نعرفه في قالب ألفاظه. من هنا جاء هذا الكتاب الذي يمثل محاولة التعريف بحقيقة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم من خلال كلمات هي أسماؤه وألقابه وكناه وصفاته. والغريب في الأمر أن كل اسم من أسمائه صلى الله عليه وسلم وكل لقب وكنية وصفة له صلى الله عليه وسلم، يشكل بحراً يمكن للباحث الغور في أعماقه ليصبح كل اسم كتاباً. وبالنسبة لهذا الكتاب فهو المجلد الثاني لأسماء الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد تضمن بين دفتيه (332) عنواناً كما يلي: 37 عنواناً مصدراً بحرف الحاء، 20عنواناً مصدراً بحرف الدا، 9 عناوين مصدرة بحرف الذا، 29 عنواناً مصدراً بحرف الرا. 4 عناوين مصدرة بحرف الزا، 149 عنواناً مصدراً بحرف االسين، 21 عنوانا مصدراً بحرف الشين،126 عنواناً مصدراً بحرف االص، 5 عناوين مصدرة بحرف الضا، 16 عنواناً مصدراً بحرف االطا، عنواناً واحداً مصدراً بحرف الظا.
