فى صفحات قليلة فى هذا الكتاب يصف لنا المؤلف د/ محمد عمارة كيف هى سماحة الإسلام الدين الذى لم يسبقة دبن فى هذه الصفة فقبلة لم يكن هناك إعتراف بوجود الاخر ودينة فنجد اليهود يأمرون فى تلمودهم بأكل الشعوب الأخرى لأنهم شعب الله المختار فالقتل عندهم تكليف إلهى! وبعدها المسحيين إتخذوا هذا المبدأ الظالم وتعاملوا بالمثل وجعلوا مبدأ ان الله يعاقب الخلف بذنوب السلف هو السائد بعد أن نسبوه إلى الذات الإلهية وأخيراً الإسلام بقوانين وأيات تحض على التسامح والتعايش مع الآخر حتى يقول الرسول صلى الله عليه سلم : اغزوا بايم الله فى سبيل الله تقاتلون من كفر بالله ، لا تغلو - اى لاتخونوا - ولا تغدروا ، ولا تقتلوا وليداً " فكان على عكس كل ما عرفته البشرية فكان أفضل الدين عند الله هو الدين السمح اللين المتسع الصدر فإلى حقيقة الإسلام الجميلة ندلف مع هذا الكتاب لنعرفها اكثر عن قرب.
