قد نوهنا في الكتاب الأول من هذه السلسلة المسماة )وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن( أن الهكسوس هم اليهود، وبرهنا على ذلك بأدلة عديدة سقناها في مقدمة الكتاب الأول، كما أوضحنا ماهية القوم وعقائدهم وشرائعهم ومن إلههم المفضل، وبينا أن هذا الإله هو مزج لعدة آلهة تمثل محور الشر في الديانات السابقة لهم كالإله )ست( عند المصريين )إله الشر(، والإله )بعل( والإله )سوتخ( وغيرهم من الآلهة التي لا ترضى عن أي شخص كائناً من كان إلا بذبح القرابين البشرية على مذابحها، وأن هؤلاء القوم اتخذوا أصناماً عدة كملكوم والحية النحاسية والعجل الذهبي الذي نسبوا صناعته لنبي الله هارون ذاته، وكم استهان هذا الشعب بكل القيم الموجودة من حوله وبكل الآيات المرسلة لهم، بل بإله بني إسرائيل الفعلي ذاته، والذي خلصهم من عدوهم الأكبر فرعون مصر، وكم ضرب لهم من العجائب في الشعب المصري الذين وصفتهم التوراة بأنهم كانوا يتعاملون معهم على أنهم نجس ورجس على خلاف ما توضحه كل الوثائق القديمة من برديات وحفائر حجرية بأنهم شعب متقدم ومتسامح مع جميع الشعوب التي تتعامل معهم.
