بعد تخرجى والتحاقى بالعمل الصحفى محررا فى قسم الحوادث والقضايا كشفت لى مهنتى الجديدة عن حقائق لم اكن منتبها لها فقد اكتشفت ان هذا العالم المحيط بى مفعم بما تتخيلة وما لا تتخيلة من انواع البشر والمواقف والمعانى وان ما يحدث بة من وقائع لم اكن لاصدقها لولا اننى رايتها عيانا لكن الذى فاجأنى ليس فقط عالم الجريمة بكل ما فية من الام واحزان ولكنى عايشت مواقف وشخصيات ووقائع وطبائع تغوص فى النهار لكنها تطفو على سطح الليل .هذه مذكرات كنت اسميها مذكرات الليل لانى كنت احرص على تدوينها ليلا على هامش احداث كثيرة عشتها كصحفى تفاعلت معها كانسان فى اجندتى الخاصة وكانها حوارات بينى وبين نفسى وسجلتها كسطور كانى احاول ان افك بها شفرة سر الليل وما يفعلة فى بنى البشر.
