(خطابات مفتوحة) للشاعرة العراقية آمنة سعدون البيرماني أقرب إلى المناجاة الشعرية منه إلى الشعر بمعناه العام. فالشعر صافيا مائة بالمائة غير موجود، بل هي محاولات لاستحضاره. نعم هكذا الشعر إنه مغروس في أرواح المبدعين من الشعراء، وشاعرتنا تخلق شخوصها وصورها الشعرية حسبما تشاء وتكشف العديد من خفايا الروح الشاعرة، تقول:
الآن أفهم الحب/ الآن فقط .. بدأت أفهم/ لم شغفت .. حبا بفتاها/ الآن بدأت أعلم/ لم مجنون ليلى/ لم ير في الدنيا سواها/ الآن بدأت أفهم/ لم تهجر الشمس سماها (...) الآن بدأت أعلم/ لم الحبيب بروحه للحبيب يفدي/ وللموت دونه يتقدم (...)".
يضم الديوان قصائد شعرية غاية في الإتقان والرهافة والبوح الشفيف، تعبر عن وجدان شاعرة من شعراء العصر الحديث، فكانت"خطابات مفتوحة" شهادة جديدة على اجتهاد شاعرة معاصرة تجدد في شعرها ويأتي جديدها واضحا وكثيفا ونوعيا في آن.
