القاص (علاء مشذوب) في قصته أعلاه، بدا أكثر إهتماماً بمعمار النص القصصي، وله سابقة في قصة (ذباب وبطل) من خلال عنايته بوحدات النص من جهة، وتماسك البنية المشكلة للنص من جهة أخرى، في النص تبئير مركزي أسهمت الوحدات السردية على إنضاجه، وتخصيب صيرورته بما منحت المركز قوة الدهشة والإبهار، وفي موقف بطلها (مصطفى) وهو يعبر عن لا وعيه مثله مثل بطل شكسبير في مسرحية (هاملت) بعد إكتشافه لطرف الجريمة. - القاص جاسم عاصي وقصة (عزف منفرد على أوتار الخيبة).
هذه القصة جسدت الإبداع القصصي، فوصلت لي متألقة من منبعها وحتى مصبها، المدن التي لا تموت، شرايين نابضة بسخونة الأحداث، وأوردة نازفة بالتوهج، صراع عنيف بين المنولوج الداخلي وهو يجتاح المدن التي تقارع الموت لكي تعانق الحياة.
