لقد جاء البحث طافحا، بالجوانب الإيجابية علمياً، ومنهجياً، وهو يقدّم نفسه للباحثين المختصين في الفكر الإسلامي، ليفتح معهم حواراً شاملاً عن مكوّنات ومقوّمات الفكر الإسلامي عموماً، والكلامي والإعتزالي منه بصفة أخصّ، ولقد قال الدارس كلمته في قضية بلغت من الحساسية والخطورة ما لا يدركه إلاّ الراسخون في الدراسات الإسلامية، وبقي على الباحثين الجامعيين والنقاد أن يحسنوا الإصغاء، والقراءة لمثل هذا اللون التجديدي في الفكر الإسلامي الذي تعاني المكتبة العربية الإسلامية من غيابه.
وإذا نجح البحث في إثارة مثل هذا الإهتمام فقد حقق هدفه المنشود بكلّ تواضع وأمانة.
