هذا كتاب (لمعة الإعتقاد) الذي ألفه أبو محمد عبد الله بن أحمد بن قدامة المقدسي المولود في شعبان سنة 541هـ بقرية من أعمال نابلس المتوفى يوم عبد الفطر سنة 620هـ بدمشق رحمه الله.
وهذا الكتاب جمع فيه مؤلفه زبدة العقيدة، ومن ثم قررت رئاسة المعاهد العلمية دراسته في مطلع القسم الثانوي في المعاهد في السنة الأولى منه، ليكون ركيزة يعتمد عليها في هذه المرحلة.
ونظراً لأهمية الكتاب موضوعاً ومنهجاً وعدم وجود شرح له، فقد عقدت العزم مستعيناً بالله سبحانه وتعالى مستلهماً منه الصواب في القصد والعمل، على أن أضع عليه كلمات يسيرة تكشف غوامضه وتبين موارده وتبرز فوائده.
