كان يُحدّث شبّان تلك المدرسة بكلام جميل، ويمازحهم، أكثر ممّا يقدم النصح والأحكام الدينيّة، فقد كان يعتقد أنّ الحسّ الذاتي عند الشباب قوي، يمكّنهم من إكتشاف الحقائق بأنفسهم، وكان يقول: "إذا دخل لصّ إلى بيتِ ما، فلن يخاف من إستيقاظ الرجل الكبير والمرأة الكبيرة في السن: بل يخشى من إستيقاظ الشباب، الآن في بيتنا لص، فأمريكا تنهب أموالنا وشرفنا وعزّتنا وحيثيّتنا، لذا علينا أن نوقِظ الشباب".
