كنت أريد أن أسأل الليّن، هل رأى شيئاً في نومه، لكنه كان مشغولاً بمحاولاته اليائسة في الصعود، كان صوت ارتطامه مكبوتاً، ولكن صدى الصوت الناتج عنه يزلزل المكان، وأنفاسه المتلاحقة، تشعرني بالتوتر، ولكن محاولاته تعطيني الفرصة للتمدد بكامل جسدي على الصخر.
عندما انتهى من محاولاته بالهزيمة كالعادة، كان علىّ أن أتكوّر مرة أخرى، لأن ملامسة قدمي له تثير غضبه، هل أقول هنا إنني استعدت روحي، فرغم النهاية المحتومة، نما بداخلي شئ لم أشعر به من قبل، ولكنه بالتأكيد كان مخزوناً في مكان ما داخل النفس، كالنوم والصوت والصور.. شئ يجعلنا نقترب من أنفسنا أكثر، نعرف عنها أكثر، وربما نحبها أكثر.
