يهدف هذا الكتاب الى وضع المسلم امام مسؤولياته الجسيمة التي اودعها الله كتابه الجامع، فيتعامل مع مشاكل الامة من منطلقات الوعي الحقيقي لاعداء الله. نواياهم واجهزتهم ومخططاتهم ووسائلهم التنفيذية وبالتالي توفر القدرة على وضع مخططات وبناء المجتمع ومقابلة المكر بالمكر. واذا كان العمل الاستخباري هو دليل التوجهات العملية للنظام المادي، فان غياب مفاهيمه عن الامة كان من اسباب انحطاطها في هذا العصر. ولان وجود الاجهزة الاستخبارية شرط مسبق لقيام الدولة على اسس عملية، فقد وضعنا الوحي في صور ة متكاملة عن مفاهيم العمل الاستخباري الاستكباري، وكشف توجهاته الفكرية والعملية لتدمير المجتمع الاسلامي ومقوماته، ويتطلب هذا الوضع بالضرورة، وبناء العقلية الاستخبارية لدى عامة الامة، وقادتها بشكل خاص. واذا استطاعت وسائل الاجهزة الاستخبارية اختراق العقل المسلم والانحدار به الى طريق التفكير المادي، فان من اهداف هذا الكتاب الدعوة الى الالتزام بطريقة التفكير الايماني. ولان الهجمة المادية الشرسة والتي تعصف بالمجتمعات الاسلامية اليوم، قد حققت الكثير من اهدافها فلا بد من التعرف على حقائق تلك الهجمة، في محاولة لكبح جماحها، والاستعداد لمرحلة جديدة يظهر الاسلام فيها من جديد، وكما اخبر الوحي. والعميد المؤلف الخبير والباحث الاسترتيجي في الشؤون الستخبارية، والمتخصص في شؤون العدو الاسرائيلي ومقاومة التجسس، فقد استطاع ان يقراايات الوحي من منطلقات استخبارية ليعبر عن واقع الامة بالامس واليوم، وما ينتظرها من مسؤوليات كبيرة في الغد المنظور، فكان هذا الكتاب.
