بعد هذه الجولة المطوّلة في ثنايا النسخة المتداولة من تفسير علي بن إبراهيم (رض)، انتهينا إلى أنّ هذا الكتاب المتداول الآن والمطبوع مراراً باسم (تفسير القمّي)، ليس إلاّ كتاب (إختيار القرآن ورواياته) لأبي الحسن علي بن حاتم القزويني (رحمه الله)، وأنّه نُسب اشتباها لأبي الحسن علي بن إبراهيم القمّي (رض)، وأنّ سبب هذا الإشتباه هو ابن النديم البغدادي (رحمه الله) من ثمّ انتقل إلى الخاصّة، واشتهر بهذا الإسم.
