ولعل في نشر تراث هذا العلم فائدة عظمى لتأكيد دور هذه الأمة في حماية هذا الدين، والدفاع عن مقدساته، والوقوف في وجه أعداء هذا الدين.. ولقد توافر العلماء منذ القديم على دراسة وخدمة هذا العلم، واعتبروه هو أساس هذا الدين، وأعلى العلوم الشرعية على الإطلاق، ومن هؤلاء: الإمام فخر الدين الرازي- رحمه الله تعالى- المتوفى سنة 606 هجري، أحد أركان هذا العلم، والذي عاش في القرن السادس الهجري، وأنتج العديد من المؤلفات التي تعتبر- بحق- ذات أهمية كبيرة في مجالات متعددة من الثقافة الإسلامية، واعتبرت مؤلفاته من المصادر الرئيسية التي يرجع إليها العلماء والطلبة على حد سواء، وكيف لا وهو كما قيل عنه: (مجدد المائة السادسة للهجرة)؟. ومن ضمن مؤلفات الإمام التي لم تحظ بالدراسة- بالرغم من أنها أول مؤلفاته- كتاب الإشارة في علم الكلام، فاستخرت الله تعالى في تحقيقه ودراسته، وها هو بين يدينا في هذا الكتاب.
