تتجلى الأهمية العلمية لهذا البحث في ثلاث نقاط: [النقطة الأولى: أن البحث حاول أن يقدم عبر فصليه نظرية متكاملة لمنظومة القيم الإسلامية، وأثرها في تأكيد التعايش الإنساني، وذلك عن طريق جمع الآيات القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية المقبولة (الصحيحة والحسنة) التي يصح الاستدلال بها، وتشكل تأصيلًا في هذا الموضوع، النقطة الثانية: أن البحث حاول أن يبرز الجوانب التطبيقية للتعايش الإنساني في حضارتنا الإسلامية الزاهرة، النقطة الثالثة: أن البحث حاول أن يدرس النصوص الشرعية (القرآنية والنبوية) التي تعني بمنظومة القيم الإسلامية، وأثرها في تأكيد التعايش الإنساني دراسة فقهية تأصيلية مستوعبة تتمثل فيها طرق الاستنباط الصحيح].
وقد جاء على مقدمة وفصلين وخاتمة كالتالي: [المقدمة فقد تحدثت فيها عن أسباب هذا البحث، والأهمية العلمية له، والمنهج الذي اختطته لإعداده، والمحتوى الذي تقوم أركان البحث عليه، وأما الفصل الأول فقد تناول (قيم الإسلام الحضاري الداعمة لتأكيد التعايش في المجتمع المعاصر)، وأما الفصل الثاني فقد تناول (انعكاسات منظومة القيم الإسلامية على السلوكيات الإنسانية في تأكيد التعايش في المجتمع المعاصر)، وأما الخاتمة فقد اشتملت على أهم نتائج البحث وتوصياته].
