يقرب منطق الضّبابية بين المنطق والحياة، أو يستثمر المنطق في حلِّ بعض المشكلات الإنسانية في الحياة الإجتماعية، أدواته المستخدمة ليست صورية خالصة؛ لأنّ الدور الأكبر في عملياته أصبح من إختصاص الخبير، سواء في تصميم المجموعات الضبابية أم في وضع توابع إنتمائها أم في صوغ قواعد الإستدلال الضبابي.
وهذا معناه أنه يحاول التقرب من الوقائع ويصغي إليها ويكتشف منطقها الذاتي، بنوع من الإستباق الحدسي الذي يتكشّف عن درجة من التوافق الخفي بين الحدس والخبرة، هذا التوافق الذي ينصهر الحدس فيه بالخبرة، ويتبين أنّ مضمون الخبرة ذاتها ليس مناقضاً للحدس، ما جعل من الممكن النظر إلى الحقيقة بطريقة مختلفة عن الطرائق التقليدية، حيث لم تعد قائمة في الفكر أو الخبرة، بل في التوافق الخلاق بينهما الذي لا يكفّ عن التطور والتغير.
