المشهور لدى بعض الفقهاء حرمة أكل حيوانات البحر إلا ما كان من صنف السمك الذي له فلس، وهذا ما استقرّت عليه الفتوى لدى معظم الفقهاء المتأخرّين، حتى غدا هذا الحكم راسخاً في أذهان العامة والخاصة، وربّما عدّ من منفردات الإماميّة، إلاّ أن الحرمة في رأي المؤلف ليست تامة، ولا هي من الواضحات أو الضرورات، والتحقيق العلمي لا يساعد عليها، وبالتالي، فثمة وجه وجيه للقول بالحلية، كما مال إلى ذلك بعض المحقّقين من الفقهاء.
وهذه الدراسة هي خلاصة بحث السيد محمد حسين فضل الله هذه المسألة.
