ابن أبي أصيبعة (596 - 668 هـ = 1200 - 1270 م)
أحمد بن القاسم بن خليفة بن يونس الخزرجي موفق الدين، أبو العباس ابن أبي أصيبعة: الطبيب المؤرخ، صاحب (عيون الأنباء في طبقات الأطباء - ط) في مجلدين.
كان مقامه في دمشق، وفيها صنف كتابه سنة 643 هـ، ومولده بها.
زار مصر سنة 634 وأقام بها (طبيبا) مدة سنة.
ومن كتبه أيضا (التجاريب والفوائد) و (حكايات الأطباء في علاجات الأدواء) و (معالم الأمم) وله شعر كثير.
وتوفي بصرخد (من بلاد حوران، في سورية)
