انه لما كانت الصلاة على النبي الأكرم والرسول الأعظم صلى الله عليه وسلم، من أشرف القربان وأفضل الأعمال الصالحات وأرجى في قبول الحسنات من رب الأرض والسماوات، أمر الله تعالى الخلق بها، وحضهم عليها وجاء في القرآن الكريم تشريفا للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وتكريما قال الله جل ثناؤه: ([إن الله وملائكته يصلون على النبي يا أيها الذين آمنوا صلوا عليه وسلموا تسليما]) وقد ساق المؤلف ما ورد في بيان فضل هذه الصلاة على نبينا الأكرم من الأخبار الكريمة، والآثار العظيمة وهذا ما يزيد في الحسنات، ويضاعف المحتويات، ويمحو السيئات، ويرفع المقامات والدرجات. وقد اشتمل شرح الكتاب على جمل علنية ونبذ غربية في فضل الصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وفضل تحيته الشافية، وحرمته العافية وفي نسبه الكريم، وحسبه العميم، وأسمائه الطاهرة.
من أشرف الكتب وأحسنها؛ إذ يتناول سيرة خير البريّة الرسول محمد صلّى الله عليه وسلم ومقامه العالي عند الله تعالى وعند البشر، مركزا على كراماته ومعجزاته وأقواله، وأفعاله، ودعائه، وأوامره، وأضاف الى ذلك بابا في الصلوات المرجو قبولها من رب العالمين، وبابا في اتمام الصلوات المكرمة والدعاء بأسماء الله تعالى المعظمة وأخيرا بابا من أدعية النبي صلّى الله عليه وسلم
