إن القراءات المختلفة للإنجازات الفكرية للمرأة المغاربية (التونسية، المغربية، الليبية) وللخطاب النسوي الناعم، سواء في مجال النقد الأدبي أو العلوم الإجتماعية والإنسانية الأخرى بكافة فروعها، أو الفنون، تعكس تأثراً جوهرياً بالمنجزات الفكرية الإنسانية الخاصة بالمرأة الغربية، والتي بدورها لا يمكن الخوض فيها بمعزل عن التيارات الفكرية، والأسس المعرفية الأخرى السائدة، ذات النزوعات الإنسانية في العالم الغربي.
وإن اختلفت بدايات ومسارات تطور الخطاب النسائي في كل من العالم العربي في الجناح الشرقي، وفي الجناح المغاربي، نظراً للإختلافات في الواقع السياسي والإجتماعي والديني والإقتصادي بكل من العالمين، فهناك أكثر من قاسم مشترك يميز هذه البدايات.
الدافع وراء ظهور هذا النوع من النقد، هو الإهمال العام للإهتمام بالمرأة على إختلاف مشاربه، بل إعتباره أدباً غير متميز، لذلك جاء كتابنا هذا حول النقد النسوي في الثقافة المغاربية المعاصرة، كي يرفع من منزلة المرأة العربية المغاربية الكاتبة / الناقدة في المجتمع، وفي المشهد النقدي العربي الراهن.
