هذا الكتاب الذي يعد تكمله أساسية للكتابين السابقين اللذين تناولا الفترة الأخيرة من نهاية الدولة الفاجارية حتى عصر الإحياء الأدبي، كتب المؤلف المجلد الثالث في ثمانية أقسام لا تتساوى طولاً وقصراً، يتناول كل قسم عدداً من الفصول اشتملت على موضوعات في غاية الأهمية، على سبيل المثال تأثير وضع المرأة الجديد على الحياة الأدبية والفكرية في إيران، والنظر في تجديد الأبجدية الفارسية والخط العربي، ودراسة هذا الموضوع دراسة عميقة، مبيماً آراء الباحثين المتباينة في هذا الموضوع وخاصة عند الإيرانيين، وموقف الاتحاد السوفيتي السابق من هذا الموضوع، وآراء الدول الإسلامية التي سيطر الاتحاد السوفيتي عليها ودوره في إحداث قضية الخط وتغيير الأبجدية، وهذا العمل تتمة لموسوعة كبيرة تناولت الأدب الحديث والمعاصر في إيران، وعلى الرغم من أن الكتاب لا يخلو من نواقص وهنات، فإن إيجابياته الكثيرة دفعتنا إلى ترجمته إلى العربية.
