إنها حرقة بالنسبة لي أن أكون غير سعيدة مع زوجي صخر أو الدكتور صخر بالأصح، هو طبيب مشهور وباحث في الكيمياء الحيوية، متفوق في عمله، ومن عائلة كبيرة وأتشرف بنسبها على حد قول أبي دائماً.
كثير السفر، وذلك لحضوره العديد من المؤتمرات والندوات، أو عقد صفقات عمل لشركة عائلته الخاصة.
منشغل عني حتى وإن كنا سوياً بالبحث والدراسة، وأعلم في نفس الوقت أنه يحبني ويحاول إسعادي، أو يظن ذلك بتوفير كل مظاهر الرفاهية والسماح لي بالسفر لوحدي أو مع صديقاتي، وقضاء معظم فترة حياتنا الزوجية كأننا ما زلنا في مرحلة الخطوبة والتعرف إلى بعضنا البعض.
يمر أسبوع وأسبوعان ليكتفي بربع ساعة لزيارتي في بيت أهلي، وجلب هدية تليق بي على حد قوله، أو الإتصال بالهاتف ليقول إني وحشته، وقد أودعت في حساب البطاقة الإئتمانية المشترك بيننا مبلغاً إضافياً من المال ليتسنى لكي التسوق والسفر أينما تريدين برفقة صديقاتك بكل حرية وبلا حدود.
كل ذلك لم أكن أكترث له، لأنني لم ولن أحبه يوماً في حياتي، ولكنه كان حُكماً مفروضاً علي بسلطة والدي الذي قرر عني الإختيار، وأجبرني بحكم العرف والتقاليد على القبول به.
