فى هذا الكتاب سوف أعرض مواقف كنت فيها طرفا, لكن هذا العرض سيعطى للقارئ دلائل كثيرة, سوف يطلع القارئ, منها سبب معارضة هولانده لمصر فى حرب 1956, وفى اليونان كان موجه الدعوة للرئيس عبد الناصر متخوفا من الزيارة.
وانتقل بعد ذلك إلى جزيرة قبرص ونظرا لأننى خدمت فيها على فترتين الأولى عام 1960 والأخرى عام 1969. وكل فترة كانت لها خصائصها, لكن ثابتا ومؤيدا طوال هذه المدة كان الأسقف مكاريوس والذى يستحق من جميع الدول العربية التقدير اللازم.
وبالطبع شمل هذا الكتاب العلاقات السورية المصرية والتى وضع لها الرئيس عبد الناصر حدا فاصلا, وذلك يجعل العلاقة بين الدولتين علاقة سياسية وليست نظرية. أما بالنسبة للمكسيك فقد تعرضت لمشكلة كبيرة يوم تقديم أوراق الاعتماد.
وأخيرا فى القسم الأول من الكتاب فقد ركزت فيه على محاولاتى المتواضعة لوقف غطرسة الإسرائيليين. أما القسم الثانى من الكتاب والذى يتناول حياة الملك فاروق وكيف كان وكيف أصبح, وقد ساعدنى فى ذلك ماسمعته من والدى الذى خدم السراى من سنة 1915 حتى سنة 1943 ومع هذا السرد التاريخي ذكرت ما شاهدت يوم حريق القاهرة.
