Book Description
تعد دار الكتب القومية من كبريات مكتبات العالم، وتراثنا المخطوط هو أغلى وأنفس ما تقتنيه دار الكتب، فالمخطوطات هي العمود الفقري للتاريخ الحضاري والثقافي لكل أمة من الأمم، ويمتد هذا التراث بطول حقبة من الزمن امتدت أكثر من أربعة عشر قرناً، كما يمتد على رقعة شاسعة من الكرة الأرضية هي التي انتشر فيها الإسلام ومعه لغة القرآن الكريم، فهي تراث للإنسانية قاطبة، ينهل منها علماء الأرض ألواناً من الفن والأدب والعلم.
ولقسم المخطوطات بدار الكتب معرض خاص يعد من أهم المعارض لما يحتويه من نفائس هذا التراث الإسلامي البالغ القيمة ذلك في الفن والزخرفة في المخطوطات العربية والفارسية في العصور الإسلامية، هذا ويضم هذا المعرض نوادر المخطوطات العربية خاصة المصاحف الشريفة بالإضافة إلى المخطوطات الفارسية المزدانه بماء الذهب والألوان البديعة، كما يضم بعض التحف الأثرية لعصور مختلفة بالإضافة إلى مجموعة من الكتب المطبوعة والتي تعد من أوائل المطبوعات.
ولقسم المخطوطات أيضاً قاعة كبيرة تسمى: قاعة المخطوطات النادرة، وهي تضم بعض المخطوطات النادرة والنفيسة في شتى علون المعرفة كالتفسير والحديث والفقه واللغة العربية والنحو والطب بالإضافة إلى مخطوطات باللغة الفارسية والتركيبة النادرة، بالإضافة إلى بعض المصاحف الشريفة، كما أن بها جناحاً خاصاً يضم أقدم البرديات الموجودة، والتي كتبت في القرن الأول الهجري.
ويمثل هذا الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا دليلاً هادياً لبعض ذخائر الكتب القومية من مخطوطات وأهمها المصاحف الشريفة ونوادر المخطوطات العربية والفارسية وكذلك البرديات العربية وأدوات الكتابة والتحف امتداداً للحضارة العربية، ثم عرض وتوصيف أوائل المطبوعات للانتقال من القيمة الغالية للمخطوط إلى انتشاره في شكل مطبوع.
