الكتاب ديوان شعر 14 قصيدة عن الثورة منها: الشعب يريد.. يناير (مارس 2011).. كرر يا كهل عواءك.. قالوا.. حين يخف البرد قليلًا.. بيروت يا بيروت.. والقصيدة التي تحمل العنوان يقول فيها: كالرسل أتى الثوار.. وذهبوا/ كالرسل أضاءوا/ واغتسلوا في الساحات/ وغسلوا.. ومنحوا الطفل حصانًا/ والطفلة فستانًا للعيد وطاروا/ ليصيروا قصصًا.. وفي قصيدة "قال الأعمى" يقول: (لكي نعود أنقياء/ وطيبين/ وصالحين كالسلف/ سنطلق اللحى/ وننصب الخيام في صدورنا/ ونشتم الكفار في المساء والصبح والضحى).
