تضافرت جهود أئمة الإسـلام على تمييز صحيح السـنة من سقيمها إلى زماننا هذا، واشتدَّ سـاعد الجد في تحرير وتطبيق قوانين المصطلح، وترميم ما يحتاج منها إلى ترميم، وبناء ما يحتاج منها إلى بناء، إلى أنْ بـرز في ذلك أئمة جهابذة أفذاذ لتنقيح ما أُدخل على حديث رسـول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مما ليس منه، فنفوا عنه تحـريف الجاهلين، وانتحال المبطلين، وبذلك تطور منهج النقد وازداد وضوحاً حتى بلغ ذروته. وكان لعلماء الأندلس دور متميز في إثراء مادة الحديث، ومشاركة فعَّالة منذ أنْ ترعرعت حركة الحديث في تلك البلاد، وإلى أنْ تميزت بمدرسة المغاربة. وتدرَّجتْ فيها المصنفات من أجزاءٍ مفردةٍ إلى كتبٍ جامعةٍ تغطي جميع فنون علم الحديث، وكان من روَّاد حركة التجديد فيها، وإحياء منهج السلف بها روايةً ودرايةً الإمام الحافظ عبد الحق الإشبيلي، وهو موضوع دراستي، وذلك من خلال كتابه العظيم ’الأحكام الكبرى‘؛ وقد قال عنه الإمام الذهبي: وسارت بأحكامه الصغرى والوسطى الركبان وله أحكام كبرى‘. وكنت أسعى من خلال الكتابة في هذا الموضوع إلى تحقيق هدفين اثنين:
أولهما: بيان المَلَكَة النَّقدية عند الإمام عبد الحق الإشبيلي، وذلك من خلال الكشف عن آرائه وأصوله العلمية التي بنى عليها جانب تقييم الرواية من حيث القَبول والرد سنداً ومتناً، ومن ثمَّ القيام بدراستها وتحليلها على وفق أصول أهل الشأن.
ثانيهما: جمع أكبر قدر ممكن من هذه الآراء، وتلك الإسهامات والإضافات العلمية التي تضاف إلى هذا الفن، وكيفية توظيفها والتعامل معها في ميدان توثيق الرواة ومروياتهم، بما يؤكد شموليتها وسـلامتها، وصحة المنهج المتبع فيها من حيث الكفاية والأسلوب والغاية؛ ليكون ذلك مفتاحاً لما استغلق من كلام الأئمة المتقدمين.
وفي ضوء تحديد هذين الهدفين تبرز قيمة الموضوع العلمية، وتتضح أهميته في تقريب مسلك الإمام الحافظ عبد الحق الإشـبيلي، ودوره في خدمة الحديث وعلومه روايةً ودرايةً.
