هذا الكتاب يشجب الإرهاب في الدعوة إلى الله وإلى الإسلام فهو دين الله الذي يدعو إلى السلام والمحبة لكي يعيش الناس جميعاً على اختلاف عقائدهم ومذاهبهم في ظلاله آمنين مطمئنين.
ويبين أن الإسلام لا يضطهد أحداً بسبب خلاف في الدين أو الرأي وأن الإنسان بصفته هذه له حقوق مصونة يحرم الاعتداء عليها أو انتهاكها في أي صورة أو تحت أي وصف.
ويبين أن الحرب ضرورة لا يلجأ إليها إلا لرد عدوان أو منع ظلم أو اعتداء على الحقوق والحريات فالأصل هو السلام.
كما يبين حدود استعمال القوة في الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر. ورفض فكرة أن يكون الاغتيال والتصفية الجسدية هي الوسيلة لمن لا يتفقون معنا في دين أو رأي وأنه ليس لأحد أن يجعل من نفسه قاضياً ومنفذاً لحكم الإعدام في أحد.
فهو محاولة على الطريق لبيان ذلك. ورجاء إلى الله أن يكون ذلك محققاً للغاية المرجوة منه وهي نبذ العنف في الدعوة إلى الإسلام ونشر السلام في العالم.
