"تداخل النصوص في الرواية العربية" محاولة منهجية، تختط لنفسها ولغيرها، مسلكاً منهجياً لدراسة موضوع التداخل النصي في الأنواع الأدبية التي تكتنز بعلاقات التناص، وهو موضوع-على ثرائه-لا يزال مدار البحث فيه-على أهميته-ضيقاً. في هذا الكتاب نقدم إحدى الدراسات المهمة في هذا المدار، وهي دراسة تنهض-ابتداءً- على أساس تحديد دقيق لجهاز المفاهيم النظرية التي تشكل عماد الجانب التطبيقي فيها، حيث يستهل الباحث حسن حماد نماذجه الروائية المختارة بـ "حديث عيسى بن هشام، أو فترة من الزمن" لمنشئه محمد المويلحي، باعتباره نموذجا إرهاصياً لنشأة الرواية العربية الحديثة في مصر، ثم يصطفي رواية "أحلام شهرزاد" لطه حسين، وتوفيق الحكيم" من بين أعمال المرحلة الوسطى في تاريخ الإبداع الروائي، بينما يتوقف طويلاً أمام رواية "ذات" لصنع الله إبراهيم، ليرصد تصاعد الوعي بفكره تداخل النصوص لدى المبدع الروائي. والكتاب بموضوعه، وبمنهجه، وبأسلوبه العلمي الرصين-يمثل إضافة جيدة وجديدة إلى حقل الدراسات الأدبية.
