هذه رسالة سميتها "إحقاق الحق بإبطال الباطل في مغيث الخلق" أرد بها على كتيب يعزى إلى أبي المعلى عبد الملك بن عبد الله بن يوسف الجويني، ويسمى "مغيث الخلق في خراسان وماولاها، إلى أن اضطر مؤلفه إلى مغادرة تلك الجهات، فأكتب بتوفيق الله سبحانه ما يعيد الحق إلى نصابه، واكتفى فيما أكتب بالكلام في الجليات التي هي أقرب إلى فضح دخيلة المؤلف، والكشف عن مبلغ جهله فيما يعانيه. وأما المسائل الخلافية الفرعية التي يتكلم هو عنها فإنما يتكلم عنها بمعيار عقله وميزان رأية بدون أن يتعرض لأدلتها الشرعية من الكتاب والسنة ومدارك الفقهاء، فإذا سلكت طريق الرد عليه في كل كلمة طال الكلام بدون حاجة.
