هاهي ذي الطائرة القادمة من جدة تهبط بي في مدينة الحرب والجمال والأساطير، وطرف النقيض من حيث أتيت... ما أبعد النقلة من جدة الحبيبة إلى بيروت العجيبة!، تلك النقلة التي كان يفترض أن تستمر لأسبوعين فقط لكنها استمرت لأكثر من أربعة أشهر شاء الله فيها أن أكون معايشاً وشاهداً على أخطر أيام في تاريخ لبنان الحديثة. ومثل وجبة شهية استمرت لدقائق وانتهت، وتركت في القلب مذاقها كانت تلك الشهور.. وهل هناك (وجبة) أشهي وأكثر تنوعاً من لبنان؟، وجبة فيها الدسم وفيها السطلات، فيها الشطة وفيها القشدة، فيها الزيتون وفيها العسل. وجبة تشمل سنة وشعية ودروز وموارنة وأرمن كاثوليك وأرثوذكس، وجبة تجمع بين الكتائب والحزب القومي السوري والشيوعيين، وجبة فيها مساخر ومفاخر، ومهازل مآس، واغتيالات قنابل وانتفاضات وإعتصامات، فيها طائفية وفيها توحد، فيها وطنيون وفيها عملاء، فيها حركة ونهضة وحياة، وفيها آم وموت وترقب، وجبة تمتد من حزب الله إلى حزب (نجاة) .... وجبة كهذه ألا يقال بعدها إن الأوقات الحلوة بتمر بسرعة؟!!
