مؤلف الكتاب دايفيد أيكه هو صحافي في بريطاني كرس حياته للبحث عن الحقائق وهو يعيش متخفياً هارباً من مطارديه وله عدة مؤلفات ويرى أن العالم تحكمه اليوم سلالات متحدرة من الزواحف بالمعنى الحرفي للكلمة.
