هذا الدفتر هو دفتر التّطبيق والنّشاطات الْمُكَمِّل لكتاب عقود الكلام في القراءة والتّعبير، والمعدّ للسّنة الثّانية من التّعليم الأساسيّ.
والدّفتر هذا، يشتمل على تمرينات ونشاطات شفويّة وكتابيّة متنوّعة، تمهيداً لنصوص الوحدة أو تطبيقاً لها، أو إمتداداً لمضمونها، أو إستثماراً للوسائل التّربويّة المعينة المرفقة بالكتاب، وهي أقراص مدّمجة سمعية وبصريّة، ولوحات الرّسوم والإعلانات.
وهذه النشاطات تنمّي في المتعلّم القدرات المعرفيّة والوجدانيّة والسّيكوحركيّة بشكل متداخل، وتكسبه كفايات التّواصل الشّفويّ إصغاءً وتعبيراً، وكفايات التّواصل الكتابيّ قراءة وكتابة.

وختم المؤلف كلّ وحدة من وحدات الدفتر هذا، بموضوع كتابيّ يوسّعه المتعلّم تطبيقاً للمكتسبات المحصّلة من الوحدة.
