كتاب تتار العصر في أورشليم القدس هو المؤلف رقم واحد من سلسلة كتب (كتاب شباب اليوم) التي رأى الكاتب إصدارها لتنوير شباب الأمة العربية مسلمين ومسيحيين، وإطلاعهم بصدق على حقائق أهم القضايا التي تمس المعتقدات الدينية، أو الانتماء الوطني، وفي ذات الوقت محاولة جادة لمواجهة الهجمات الصهيونية اليهودية الكاذبة التي تحاول تدمير الفكر العربي وتحريف معتقداته وتثبيت الادعاءات اليهودية المضللة من خلال مختلف وسائل الإعلام الغربية.
وقد توخى الكاتب البساطة في الأسلوب والدقة في العرض والأمانة في التوثيق حتى يلقي الكتاب قبولاً لدى شباب اليوم، الذي تأثر البعض منه بالعولمة الإعلامية الغربية. كما وقسمت موضوعات الكتاب إلى أربعة فصول وأضيف غليه ملحقين. تناول الفصل الأول التعريف بالأرض المقدسة وهي أرض فلسطين، وليس فقط المجسد الأقصى كما يعتقد البعض. وفي الفصل الثاني قدم الحقائق التاريخية عن الحرم الشريف وقبة الصخرة والمسجد الأقصى وأهمية عروبة الكنائس المسيحية في فلسطين. أما الفصل الثالث فخصصه لعرض وتفنيد أكاذيب الصهيونية اليهودية، وادعاءاتهم عن هيكل سليمان التوراتي وحائط المبكى، وكيف تحولت الأسطورة الخيالية إلى عقيدة لدى اليهود، الذين صدقوا مع الوقت أكاذيبهم.
واختتم في الفصل الرابع العرض التاريخي بكيفية سقوط مدينة القدس في يد تتار العصر، مقارنة بسقوط المدينة إبان الحروب الصليبية، واستردادها على يد صلاح الدين. ومن أهم ما حققه هذا الكتاب التعريف بهوية كلمة (أورشاليم) وإثبات أنها كلمة عربية أصيلة، حاول اليهود نسبتها إلى لغتهم منذ وقت غير بعيد، وتمكنوا من أن يثبتوا هذا المعتقد لدى الرأي العام الغربي الذي أخذها بنصها في الترجمة الإنجليزية.
ثم الحق بالكتاب ملحقين، قدم في الملحق الأول جزء من جرم الصهيونية اليهودية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني صاحب الأرض. أما الملحق الثاني فهو ترجمة كاملة حرفية لبروتوكولات حكماء صهيون- دون أي تنميق أو تحريف لغوي- مع عرض كامل عن قصة هذه البروتوكولات، كيف ظهرت، وكيف أنكرها اليهود، ومحاولاتهم المستميتة للتنصل منها.
