أمضي حياتي مسافراً، مصر، تركيا، إسبانيا... في مقهىً في طليطلة شدّ إنتباهي قط هرم بني اللون مقطوع الذيل نائم على المقعد... عامل التنظيف أخبرني أنهم لم يفتحوا بعد... "حسنا، سأجلس وأستريح قليلاً لو سمحت"، قلتُ، وتظاهر العامل أنه لا يسمع.
في هذه اللحظة فُتح باب المطبخ وظهر الطبّاخ اليدين، وشممتُ رائحة كريهة ملتبسة، ليعود أدراجه ويغلق وراءه الباب بعنف، فتح الباب ثانية، ونادى: "جينا!"، جاءت فتاة ترتدي تنورة قصيرة للغاية، وظلت تربّت على جسد القط، نظرت إليّ بعينيها الوحشيتين، قالت: "هل تستطيع أن تعزف على البيانو؟"، "كلا" أجبتها، ودُهشتْ، وغادرتْ مغضبة، هل كانت تدعوني لأعزف على بيانو جسدها الجميل؟...
