أ.د. محمد عبد العظيم سعود: نالَ درجةَ البكالوريوسِ شعبة الاتصالاتِ الكهربيةِ عامَ ١٩٦٦ من كليةِ الهندسةِ بجامعةِ عين شمس، ثُم درجةَ البكالوريوسِ شعبة الرياضياتِ البحتةِ والإحصاءِ عامَ ١٩٦٩، ودرجةَ الماجستيرِ في الرياضياتِ البحتةِ (تحليل عددي) عامَ ١٩٧٢ من كليةِ العلومِ بجامعةِ عين شمس، ثُم درجةَ الدكتوراه في الرياضياتِ (جبر) عامَ ١٩٧٩ من معهدِ الرياضياتِ بجامعةِ ميونيخ. وهو أستاذُ الرياضياتِ البحتةِ منذُ عامِ ١٩٩٣ في كليةِ العلومِ بجامعةِ عين شمس.
له أكثرُ من ٧٠ بحثًا منشورًا أو مقبولًا للنشرِ في الدورياتِ الكنديةِ والإنجليزيةِ والبلغاريةِ والباكستانيةِ والهنديةِ والمِصرية، أغلبُها عن «نظرية الرسوم». وقد ذكرَ البروفيسور «جوزيف جاليان» أكثرَ من ٤٠ بحثًا من أبحاثِه في العرضِ السنويِّ لأبحاثِ ترقيمِ الرسومِ الذي تُصدِرُه مجلةُ «ذي إلكترونيك جورنال أوف كومباينتوريكس». كما تطلبُ منه دوريةُ «ماثيماتيكال ريفيوز» ملخَّصاتٍ عن بعضِ الأبحاثِ المنشورة.
ألَّفَ كُتبًا في الجبرِ التقليديِّ والجبرِ الخطيِّ والجبرِ المُجردِ والتوافقياتِ والحسابِ والهندسة، وله كتابٌ بالاشتراكِ مع تلميذَين من تلاميذِه نُشرَ باللغةِ الإنجليزيةِ في ألمانيا. وقد راجَعَ ترجمةَ كتابٍ في فلسفةِ الرياضيات. وله أيضًا كُتبٌ في التاريخِ الإسلامي، وخاصةً «تاريخ الأزهر الشريف».
أشرَفَ على العديدِ من رسائلِ الماجستيرِ والدكتوراه، وهو مُحكِّمٌ في لِجانِ الترقياتِ في مِصرَ منذُ عامِ ٢٠٠٠، كما حكَّمَ في لِجانِ ترقياتٍ في بعضِ الدولِ العربية.
Book Description
يتألف الكتاب من جزأين: أولهما ويعرض باستفاضة لأسس الجبر المجرد: والعلاقات والرواسم (الدوال). ويمهد لها بباب في أساسيات المنطق الرياضي وآخر عن الاستقراء الرياضي. كما يعرض لموضوعات هامة في الجبر التقليدي، الكسور الجزئية، نظرية ذات الحدين بأي أس، والأعداد المركبة ونظرية المعادلات، وهو بهذا يغطي ما يدرسه طلاب الفرقة الأولي بكليات العلوم والتربية، والفرقة الإعدادية بكليات الهندسة علي مستوي الأمة العربية جمعاء.
أما ثانيهما فيقدم الجبر الخطي لطلاب الفرقتين الثانية والثالثة بكليات العلوم والتربية وطلاب كليات الهندسة في العالم العربي، فيعرض أولاً لنظم المعادلات الخطية والمتجهات والمصفوفات والمحددات التي تكون مدخلاً مفصلاً لصلب الكتاب وهو الفراغات والتحويلات الخطية. ويختتم هذا الجزء بتطبيقات في المعادلات التفاضلية وبعض التطبيقات الهندسية... الكتاب مترع بالأمثلة المحلوله والتمارين، وبأسلوب خلو من أي تعقيد.
