ما وصلنا إليه اليوم يرضي من؟ حشود مستهلكة وأمم تعيش على فتات إنتاج الآخرين. لو غضبنا من مواقف الصين هل نستطيع مقاطعة المنتجات الصينية؟ ولكن لو غضبت منا الصين وقاطعتنا لشهر واحد فقط كيف سنعيش؟ في مدرستي الابتدائية كان هناك لوحات كبيرة كتبت عليها آيات وأحاديث؛ من بينها لوحة كتب عليها “لحوم العلماء مسمومة” وكنت أظنها حديثا نبويا! وكبرت وأنا أملك هذا الظن؛ فلا يجوز انتقاد أي شي يقوله عالم دين؛ وما يقوله هو الرأي الأحادي الصواب؛ فكنا نسمع عن الاختلاف ورحمة الخلاف ولا نراه! بدأت بكتابة هذا الكتاب الذي استغرق قرابة اربع سنوات وأنا أيضا أظن أن المقولة حديث. مجتمعات ظاهرها الحداثة والتطور؛ ولكن تعاني من فراغ فكري وأسس التأصيل وتأطير القضايا؛ إلى درجة من الممكن أن يصدقوا قصصا مثل قصة الشجاع الأقرع! كيف وصلنا إلى مرحلة الشجاع الأقرع؟ لنعد للأشياء من أساسها ولنسم الأشياء بأسمائها. وحده الجهل من يخلق الخرافات؛ الجهل التراكمي والطيبة لحد تصديق كل شيء تخلق مجتمعا مترددا؛ لنراقب كيف تنتشر الشائعات بيننا؛ كل شيء قابل للتصديق؛ والقضايا الجانبية تتحول لمسلمات تاريخية.
