أثنى الله على خلقه العظيم فقال عز وجل (وإنك لعلى خلق عظيم). فهو الرقيق الرفيق الحليم- قال الله عز وجل فىشأنه (ولو كنت فظاً غليظ القلب لانفضوا من حولك فاعف عنهم واستغفر لهم وشاورهم فى الأمر) (أل عمران: أية 159).ضرب الله به المثل لهداية هذه الأمة ورفقه بها, قال عز وجل: (لقد جاءكم رسول من أنفسكم عزيز عليه ماعنتم حريص عليكم بالمؤمنين ورؤوف رحيم) (التوبة: 128). وهو قائل "مادخل الرفق فى شئ إلا زانه وما خرج من شئ إلا شأنه".
وبعد:
فإن هدف هذا البحث إتخاذ الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم) قدوة لكل فرد مسلم بصفة عامة ولكل حاكم مسلم بصفة خاصة ليسعد فى دنياه وأخرته: قال تعالى: (لقد كان لكم فى رسول الله أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الأخر) (سورة الاحزاب, الأية 21). وقد رعى فى هذا البحث أن يكون سهل العرض والتناول, وهو يتكون من ستة فصول وخاتمة ونتائج بحث فأما الفصل الأول فعنوانه: "هذا هو الإسلام", أما الفصل الثانى فكان (المواطنة فى الإسلام "المدينة نموذجاً"), أما الفصل لثالث: فكان عنوانه (لماذا شرع الجهاد فى الإسلام), أما الفصل الرابع: بعنوان (صفات الرسول "صلى الله عليه وسلم" الخلقية والخُلقية), أما الفصل الخامس فتحت عنوان (الرسول "صلى الله عليه وسلم" السياسى), أما الفصل السادس فكان (الرسول "صلى الله عليه وسلم" القائد العسكرى).
